On November 28, 2019, the Second Round of Democratic Life Meeting of the China Translation Corporation (CTC), based on the theme "Remaining True to the Original Aspiration, Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind," was held at the Party Branch of GTCOM Qingdao. Huang Zhijian, board member, president and deputy secretary of CPC Party Group of China Publishing Group Corporation (CPG), led the meeting. Huang Song, the general manager and deputy secretary of the CPC Committee of CTC, and chairman of GTCOM, and Zhang Jingjing, deputy general manager, deputy secretary of the CPC Committee, secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and chairman of the Board of Supervisors of GTCOM, participated.

Mark Wang, vice president of GTCOM and general manager of GTCOM Qingdao, on behalf of GTCOM Qingdao reported the main achievements and progress of the theme education, deeply analyzed the reasons of problems in study of theories, ideology and politics, entrepreneurship, public service, and integrity, and proposed the corresponding remediation measures. During criticism and self-criticism, the leaders upheld the principles of seeking truth through the understanding of facts and devoting oneself to the interests of the public, opened their hearts to one another, emphasized party disciplines rather than personal relationships, highlighted the truth without fear of losing faces, seriously expressed their opinions and warmly assisted each other.

Huang Zhijian commented on and fully affirmed the theme education and the Democratic Life Meeting conducted by GTCOM Qingdao, whereby he proposed four suggestions: First, GTCOM Qingdao should focus on the principal line of theme education, enhance party building, constantly improve ideological and political quality, and conduct legal and compliant operations. Second, GTCOM Qingdao is expected to center on the core business activities, strengthen innovation, continuously consolidate the integration between culture and science and technology, between culture and finance, and between culture and information service. Third, GTCOM Qingdao needs to create its corporate culture, optimize the operational mechanism, and continue to build enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and sense of mission among the leaders of the core team. Fourth, GTCOM Qingdao should propose new systems and mechanisms and deepen the awareness of community.
