From April 21 to 22, 2021, Mr. Huang Song, the executive director and secretary of the CPC Committee of China Translation Corporation (CTC) and chairman of Global Tone Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (GTCOM), together with Mr. Xia Jianjun, the vice presidentof GTCOM, visited World Publishing Xi'an Co., Ltd. (WPC) and Xi'an City Wall. Mr. Xue Chunmin, general manager of WPC, Mr. Fan Ming, director of the Administration Committee of Xi'an City Wall, and Mr. Wang Zhewen, general manager of Xi'an Qujiang City Wall Travel Development Co., Ltd., attended the seminar.

During his visit, Mr. Huang Song pointed out that this was the second time the two sides had met after the establishment of their strategic cooperative relationship. He expressed confidence that the two sides could make further contribution to the spread of culture between languages by positively exploring more value-added service demands and creating new business-collaboration models while continuing their work to develop and integrate digital technologies.

At the meeting, Mr. Xue Chunmin spoke highly of GTCOM's strong capability of research and development of big data, linguistic technologies and machine translation, which was obvious to all. He hoped the company could give full play to their technological advantages and the two sides could work together in collaboration to publish books from abroad and develop intelligent speech translation.

The CTC delegation also paid a visit to Xi'an City Wall and the Administration Committee of Xi'an City Wall for the purpose of research. During that visit, Mr. Huang Song pointed out that Xi'an City Wall boasted rich cultural resources and received numerous visitors, by which it provided key resources and data for the application of innovative intelligent tour models.

Mr. Fan Ming offered an introduction of the wall's history and the status of the Administration Committee of Xi'an City Wall. He noted that the wall introduced the city to the world by means of characteristic tourism, adding that an intelligent tourism platform for the City Wall, employing the big-data technology for analysis, could dramatically enhance the visitor's experience as well as the quality and efficiency of the local cultural tourism industry.

Thanks to the seminar, the two sides achieved a deeper mutual understanding and expressed readiness for collaboration in the application of the digital city brain system as a means to facilitate intelligent tourism.

Mr. Huang Song, during his speech, also made suggestions in response to the speech by Mr. Wang Chongzheng, general manager of Global Tone Communication Technology (Shaanxi) Co., Ltd., who'd reported on the current status of the GTCOM Shaanxi's development. Mr. Huang Song said GTCOM Shaanxi should continue to actively promote the intelligent and digital upgrading of countries and regions along the Belt and Road by applying their leading technologies and advantageous resources in key fields, including digital city brain, intelligent cultural tourism and language technologies.
