The 2022 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2022) officially returned to Las Vegas for a live, in-person event from January 5 to 7, 2022 local time in the United States. As a bellwether of technological innovation, CES is the highlight of global technology shows in the new year and the largest platform for the world’s major technology companies to release new technology and new products. The AI language-technology products of Global Tone Communication Technology (US) Co., Ltd. (“GTCOM-US”) including the JoveTrans smart noise-canceling interpretation earphones and the LanguageBox smart conference solution were displayed at CES, attracting the attention of many technology enthusiasts and channel providers. GTCOM-US communicated with partners and customers around the world with regard to artificial intelligence, language technology and other hot topics.
In the context of a global pandemic, the organizers of this year’s CES gave exhibitors abundant opportunities for parallel online and offline participation. Following a series of discussions, the GTCOM-US team decided to take part in the exhibition on an in-person basis through strict adherence to the pandemic-prevention measures. The move was made so that more people could experience the company's language-technology products. This was consistent with GTCOM's people-centered product philosophy and its emphasis on user experience.
GTCOM’s AI language technology was displayed at CES 2022.
GTCOM, with its prowess in language technology, has brought software and hardware application products--based on its proprietary machine-translation technology--to important markets such as the United States, Japan and Singapore over the years. The products have been made available on the Amazon e-commerce platform as well as at TrueForm and b8ta, which are known in the U.S. as physical retail stores for technologically innovative products. Moreover, GTCOM has become an official provider of language-technology services for the Government of Singapore.
Thanks to its development over more than eight years, GTCOM's artificial intelligence machine-translation engine now supports 60 languages. Its technology has been recognized by authoritative organizations throughout the industry. According to the "2020 Market Guide for AI-Enabled Translation Services" published by Gartner, an internationally respected research organization, GTCOM was identified as a global representative vendor. In fact, GTCOM has participated in the Conference on Machine Translation (WMT) for five straight years and achieved excellent results in the process, winning titles in three language pairs in 2021, thereby ranking second worldwide and first in China in the number of championships.
GTCOM will continue to rely on its AI, big-data and language-technology capabilities to develop the global market, promote global communication, boost digital development, and benefit the global development of technology in tandem with economy.
