During July 8 and9, 2023, the 2023 Eco Forum Global Guiyang, themed on "Pursuing Modernization of Harmony between Humanity and Nature – Promoting Green and Low-carbon Development" washeld in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. Global Tone Technology Co., Ltd. (GTCOM) provided language technology services in seven languages for the opening and closing ceremonies, 11 themed forums and leaders' meetings to ensure smooth operation of the event.

GTCOM, inheriting what its parent company, China Translation Corporation, has accumulated over the past 50 years, is highly experienced in supporting large international events with high-quality language technology and services. The company sent a team of 51 members, consisting of the business group, translation group, interpretation group and technical support group, to the site and the team completed the translation of important documents such as leaders’ speeches, the manual, and the guest list, and provided interpretation services for 26 sessions including the opening and closing ceremonies, themed forums leaders’ meetings, etc., involving the seven languages of English, Spanish, Thai, Lao, Japanese, Polish, and Nepali. As China’s “national team for translation”, GTCOM’s team stood ready around the clock on the front line and worked hard under high pressure and with a tight schedule.
