On April 3, 2023, the 2023 Annual Conference of the Translators Association of China, hosted by the Translators Association of China under the guidance of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, opened at Beijing International Convention Center. As an important item on the agenda, an ceremony was held to grant certificates to translation service providers during the event. Global Tone Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (GTCOM) was certified as a 5A translation service provider by virtue of its high-quality language technology services and mature service provision mechanisms.

To promote the standardization of the translation industry in an innovative way, the Translators Association of China and China Quality Mark Certification Group jointly formulated the Translation Service Certification Regulations and officially launched translation service certification in 2018. This is an important move after the Translators Association of China initiated efforts for the overall planning and standardization of the translation industry, putting standards into use andfillingthe blank of certification in the translation and language service industry in China. It marks a major step of China’s translation industry towards maturity and a significant move forward in standardization of the industry, further standardizing China’s translation and language service market and facilitating the steady and healthy development of the industry. GTCOM is one of the first three companies certified in 2018 when the project was in pilot operation and this year, it secured 5A translation service certification, the top rating. This once again showcased the company’s strengths in language technology and translation services and reinforced its status as a leader of the industry.

As a certified 5A translation service provider, GTCOM fully demonstrated to peers in the industry its development history, core technology systems and application results achieved over the past 10 years in the exhibition area.
